For what it’s worth I lied
You were never the honest type
I hope it hurts to see
This will be the second time
I watched my mother die
I hope it hurts to leave
That man that leaves his wife
Alone and lets her cry
That’s no, no man, to me
You can say we’re born alone
Hey Nikki, he can leave us all alone
We ain’t no stranger to a broken home
Hey Nikki, you’ll never be alone
We ain’t no stranger to a broken home
Any other bastards that let you go
Any other pastors that let him know
Any other times that he let you down
Even though our pops never came around
Any other times that he came unglued
Talk about our life, I never knew you
Who were you around when you lost your wife
Could have been a God but you’re not my type
Hey Nikki, he can leave us all alone
We ain’t no stranger to a broken home
Hey Nikki, you’ll never be alone
We ain’t no stranger to a broken home
For what it’s worth I lied
You were never the honest type
For what it’s worth I lied
You were never the honest type
Hey Nikki, he can leave us all alone
We ain’t no stranger to a broken home
Hey Nikki, you’ll never be alone
We ain’t no stranger to a broken home
Jon Mess is a lyrical beast. His scream is so unique and I'm in love with the fact that this project allows him to explore his voice a bit more (both literally and figuratively [those sing/screams on Honey Boo Buscemi and Meat Fetish are ufff]). Of course Will is the man, I see a different side of Matt (which is good), but i think the real star here is Martin. His heavier insight is truly what makes this album what it is. His riffs are heavy, progressive and oh so smart. Miguel Guzman
Fabulous vocals, absorbing lyrics, and a sound that grabs you and just doesn't let go. Beautifully crafted, the wide range of styles and influences always feel like they fit exactly where they need to go. Niels Rakhorst

little on the short side, but the tracks are absolutely killer, a great effort by both bands. I can't wait for their respective LPs to be released. August Payjack
